Gary Cushing has been a small business owner for over twenty years. Gary has been active with the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce since 1991, and has served two terms as Chairman of the Board. He has also chaired the Business Advocacy Committee for the Chamber for many years. He has lobbied in Sacramento for California State University; Channel Islands for the past several years. Gary also has had extensive involvement on the Board of Directors of other organizations such as: Ventura County Taxpayers Association, Camarillo HealthCare District Business Advisory Panel, Chamber of Commerce Alliance of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, Boys and Girls Club of Camarillo, and the Rotary Club of Camarillo.
He holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from California State University, Channel Islands, and is enrolled in the Masters Public Policy Administration at Cal Lutheran University.
